Every user who wishes to access the Cirrent portal must have a userid and a password. Cirrent will generate these credentials when a user requests access to the portal. You can add or delete users in your account through the Management Center. Users of the Cirrent portal will typically be:
- Developers who are adding the ZipKey capability to a product. They'll need access to download the WCM build, and access the developer tools.
- Product managers who may be interested in seeing reports on how the ZipKey service is being used in their products.
- Operations team members. These will be the people who are provisioning the devices in the Cirrent portal (until there is an automated feed as part of the manufacturing process).
- Administrators who will manage which users can access the Cirrent portal.
Note that the end users who use your product are not given access to the Cirrent portal. Cirrent does not need to know about these end users. The mobile app will upload their location information to enable us to find nearby devices, but they can only claim nearby devices when authorized by your cloud.
