The Log Explorer gives you a consolidated view of all the logs that were uploaded to the Cirrent cloud, for a given device and optionally a mobile app. Enter a valid device id, pick a start and end time (in your local time), and tap the 'Find Logs' button, and the Log explorer will show you all the logs it has received (from the WCM, the API servers, and the Authentication servers) for this device. Even if the clock on the device is wrong, the Log Explorer will adjust the time, based on when it received the logs, so the times shown for the WCM log entries will be adjusted to match the API calls made by the WCM. If the time cannot be accurately determined, the Log Explorer will guess at the best time, and will show a red arrow to indicate these are estimated times.
You can control the level of logging by checking or unchecking the Debug, Info, Critical, Warning and Error categories. Note that the Debug level of logging is only enabled in debug builds on the WCM, and will not be enabled in production devices.
To get the Mobile App logs, you need to enter the App Identifier for your mobile app. This will typically be the login string for the user of the mobile app. It is whatever your mobile app provided as the owner id in the calls to the Cirrent cloud.
Once you have retrieved your logs, you can get additional details on each log entry, including the thread id, the original time stamps that came up from the WCM, and a link to the raw log file that was uploaded to the Cirrent cloud.
