The Device and App Explorer is a useful tool that shows you recent activity between your device, your mobile app and the Cirrent cloud. Enter the device id and secret, and the Device Explorer will query the Cirrent cloud to find the most recent status update from that device, whether it is bound or not, and the networks that it knows about. The Device Explorer will also show whether this device was authenticated through any Cirrent RADIUS servers, and recent API calls it made. Enter the App Identifier for your mobile app and the App Explorer will query the Cirrent cloud to find the most recent activity from the mobile app, recent API calls it made, and whether it has sent private network credentials to the device. The App Identifier will typically be the login string for the user of the mobile app. It is whatever your mobile app provided as the owner id in the calls to the Cirrent cloud.
The Device and App Explorer gives you a near real-time view to what's happening on your device and mobile app (as soon as the device can reach the Cirrent cloud). Keep the Explorer page open while you are onboarding your device from your mobile app and you should see the private network being received by the Cirrent cloud, then downloaded by the device, and then the device should report that it has JOINED the private network.
You can also use the Device Explorer to reset the device state in the Cirrent cloud. This will delete any history about this device from the cloud, setting it back to its initial state as if it had never connected to the cloud. You should not need to reset the device state from the Cirrent cloud, as the state will be reset whenever you delete the device from your mobile app. The reset option is only needed if the app did not reset the state correctly.
